GoNetspeed, a leading fiber optic network provider in the Northeast, has announced a major expansion into New Jersey, marking its eleventh state.

In a significant move, GoNetspeed is investing $110 million to extend its fiber optic internet services to six new communities in New Jersey: Carteret, Northfield, Old Bridge, Parlin, South River, and Ventnor. This expansion, scheduled to begin construction in 2026 with the first customers connected by fall, underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing connectivity in local areas.

Richard Clark, President and CEO of GoNetspeed, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating, “GoNetspeed is proud to expand into New Jersey as part of our commitment to strengthening communities through better connectivity. With a fully privately funded investment, we’re bringing reliable, high-speed fiber service to six local communities—empowering residents, supporting small businesses, and opening new doors in education, healthcare, and everyday life.”

The new fiber network promises to offer symmetrical internet speeds from 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps, supporting future technological demands. This initiative aims to bolster economic growth, enhance educational opportunities, and improve healthcare access across the newly connected regions.

GoNetspeed’s deployment of a 100% fiber-optic network solidifies its position as a key player in the region’s telecommunications landscape, providing more speed, access, and reliability. Customers will benefit from future-ready connectivity, enabling the integration of advanced digital applications and services.
